Vacation Bible School is Coming!  Please join us.

At Sky, kids discover that everything is possible with God! Sky is filled with incredibleBible-learning experiences kids see, hear, touch, and even taste! Sciency-Fun Gizmos,team-building games, cool Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the Skyactivities that help faith flow into real life. Plus, we’ll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life—something we call God Sightings. Get ready to hear that phrase a lot!

Your kids will also participate in a hands-on mission project, through a program called Operation Kid-to-Kid that will let the kids in our community show God’s love to children in Mali, Africa.

Every child matters! 

From the littlest to the biggest, every child has a unique set of qualities and gifts that color our world.  Every child is made with a purpose.   At Celebration Church, we promise to help you and your child discover and fulfill that purpose in daily life.

Parenting is important and we applaud you for being involved in your child’s walk through life.  We offer the following Sunday classes for children during adult worship:  "Nursery" for ages 0-3,  "Little Kid" classes for ages 4-6 and those in Kindergarten, and "Big Kid" classes Grades 1-2, Grades 3-5, and Grades 6-8 (10:30 AM service only).  Age-appropriate lessons of biblical truth and values are provided at all levels.

Sunday School won't BEE the same!

We value relationships and we sincerely love before we ever teach. The Buzz curriculum used in our classrooms allows both teachers and kids to grow closer to God together!  Each quarter, kids learn Bible truths they will remember for a lifetime.  Buzz is a two-year curriculum that takes kids and teachers on a journey to explore eight attributes of God.  Kids will know God...feel his love...and cement a rock-solid friendship with him.

Spring curriculum (13 weeks) begins March 4, 2012 with God's Word:

Each class period follows 5 simple steps:

  1. Get connected--a time for children and teachers to share and build relationships prompted by fun, interactive questions.
  2. God-sightings--kids learn to see God at work in their lives throughout the week.
  3. Bible Cards--these provide directions for memorable, imaginative lessons.  Kids get to pick the lesson enhancing activities--music, acting, crafts, and games.
  4. Apply the Bible Point--kids discuss how to apply the lesson to their own life.
  5. Prayer--kids and teachers learn to pray together. In new and creative ways, we praise God, pray for others, and for ourselves.

Age appropriate lessons:

In the Jubilee kit, pre-K & K children (age 5-6) explore God’s amazing forgiveness throughout the Bible. They’ll meet David and King Saul, the woman who anointed Jesus’ feet, the lost son who comes home, and many more!  Plus, they’ll learn about the greatest act of forgiveness ever—Jesus’ death and resurrection!

In the Hide & Seek kit, kids in grades 1 & 2 learn that Jesus is the very best at Hide & Seek.  When we’re lost, he finds us! Children will explore how Jesus heals a paralyzed man, discover that Jesus was crucified and came back to life, hear the parable of the lost son, learn how Jesus changed Saul’s life, and much more!

In the Gross Me Out kit, children in grades 3 - 5 dig into the gross stories from the Bible, such as Jesus sending evil spirits into a herd of pigs, healing a blind man with mud made from spit, and reattaching a bloody severed ear.  Ooo, gross!  And there are even more icky lessons—13 in all!  Kids will also learn the most important lesson of all—that Jesus was crucified and came back to life.
